Key Responsibilities
- Highly skilled ETL Developer to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of data pipelines for the EMDA platform, a GMP-validated solution used across client's global manufacturing sites.
- Build and optimize ETL workflows using Biovia Pipeline Pilot, integrating data from Oracle, SQL Server, and flat files (e.g., Excel), ensuring data quality and compliance for environmental monitoring analytics.
- Design and develop ETL protocols using Biovia Pipeline Pilot v2017R2 to extract, transform, and load data from lab systems (e.g., gLIMS, MODA, LabWare, Thermo Fisher) and flat files.
- Configure and maintain ETL parameters including:
- Target DB environment (Dev, Test, Stage, Prod)
- Data classes and study identifiers
- Folder paths and runtime settings
- Dry run and test mode options
- Integrate data into the Oracle 19c business layer and support schema-level transformations for EMDA modules.
- Troubleshoot ETL failures and protocol errors, including ODBC connection issues and Oracle-specific exceptions.
- Collaborate with DBAs and EMDA support teams to resolve data access and performance issues.
- Support audit trail retrieval and data verification processes using SQL and EMDA audit tables.
- Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to validation documentation (e.g., ADLC plans, SOPs, design specs).
- Interpret environmental monitoring data and support modules including:
- EMDA Heatmaps
- MODA History & Trend Check
- Utility/Water Trending
- Automated Reports
- ASRAT (Aseptic Site Risk Assessment Tool)
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience in ETL development, preferably in regulated environments
- Expert hands-on experience with Biovia Pipeline Pilot (protocol design, parameter config, error handling)
- Strong SQL skills with Oracle, SQL Server, and flat file ingestion
- Familiarity with GMP compliance, audit trail management, and validation documentation
- Tools: Visual Studio, VS Code, Postman, JIRA, GitHub/BitBucket, Toad – 3 yrs
- Testing & Security: Unit/Integration Testing, SonarQube, Azure AD SSO – 2 yrs
