We’re looking for a mid–senior level full-stack web developer who is strong in fundamentals, comfortable working on servers, and not afraid to learn new technology when the job demands it. 

You’ll work directly with a development lead, building and maintaining WordPress sitesLaravel projects, and occasionally exploring newer stacks when needed. This role is for someone who can figure things out, not just follow tutorials. 

 

What you’ll do 

  • Build, maintain, and improve WordPress and Laravel applications 
  • Work across backend and frontend (PHP, JS, modern frameworks when needed) 
  • Deploy, debug, and troubleshoot applications on VPS / cPanel / CWP 
  • Work with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases 
  • Use SSH and Linux commands comfortably for day-to-day work 
  • Collaborate directly with the dev lead and communicate progress clearly 
  • Use AI tools to speed up development, reduce grunt work, and ship faster 
  • Learn and adapt when new tools or technologies are required

You don’t need to know everything, strong fundamentals and the ability to learn matter more than checklists. 

 

What we’re looking for 

  • Mid to senior-level experience in web development 
  • Solid understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP, databases, security basics) 
  • Comfortable deploying and debugging on real servers 
  • Knows how to work with Git and collaborate via GitHub 
  • Uses AI tools effectively but understands the code they ship 
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken) 
  • Communicates clearly and reliably 
  • Takes ownership of work and follows through 

 

Nice to have 

  • Experience optimizing WordPress performance 
  • Experience scaling Laravel applications 
  • Familiarity with basic DevOps workflows 
  • Previous work in small teams or agency/startup environments 

 

Compensation & role details 

  • Full-time ( 9am – 4pm CST  Mon-Fri) 
  • Budget: USD $600 
  • Work directly with a development lead 
  • Long-term role for the right candidate
