I.T. For Less is looking for a results-driven Content Strategist to translate buyer insights into a scalable content plan. You’ll own the content strategy, navigate cross-functional partnerships, and ensure our content drives awareness, engagement, and demand aligned to revenue goals. 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop end-to-end content strategy aligned with buyer journeys, personas, and business goals. 
  • Conduct audience research, persona development, and journey mapping to identify content gaps and opportunities. 
  • Define content architecture, topics, formats, and messaging that reinforce brand voice and value propositions. 
  • Create and maintain an editorial calendar; write clear content briefs and oversee content production with writers, designers, and video producers. 
  • Collaborate with SEO, UX, Product Marketing, Brand, Demand Gen, and Sales Enablement to ensure content supports campaigns and product launches. 
  • Establish and enforce a content style guide, governance, taxonomy, and metadata to maintain consistency and discoverability. 
  • Optimize content for SEO, user intent, conversions, and accessibility; apply CRO principles to lift engagement and lead generation. 
  • Analyze content performance (traffic, engagement, leads, pipeline influence) and translate insights into iterative strategy tweaks. 
  • Champion a data-driven approach; report on content KPIs and ROI; continuously improve content processes and tooling. 
  • Ensure content meets brand standards, compliance, and inclusivity guidelines. 
  • Support ABM and demand programs with asset creation (aids, playbooks, case studies, whitepapers, templates). 

What we’re looking for 

Must-haves: 

  • 3–5+ years in content strategy, content marketing, editorial, or a related field. 
  • Proven track record building and executing a multi-channel content plan that supports demand and pipeline goals. 
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a portfolio of content strategy work (content calendars, strategy docs, sample assets). 
  • Experience with SEO fundamentals (keyword research, on-page optimization, content optimization for search). 
  • Proficiency with analytics and reporting (e.g., Google Analytics, GA4; ability to derive insights and present them clearly). 
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management. 
  • Ability to translate complex product or technical topics into buyer-friendly content.
