Role Descriptions:
Design| configure| and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure using Cisco and Arista switches and routers.
Deploy and manage SD-WAN solutions (e.g.| Cisco Viptela| Meraki| Fortinet| or Versa).
Supporting SD-WAN routing overlays and underlaysDesigning and implementing Layer 2 networks for enterprise and data center environmentsTroubleshooting broadcast storms| loop issues| and port flapping
Performing switch upgrades and firmware managementConfiguring switch stacks and chassis-based systemsManaging switch ACLs and security policiesMonitoring switch performance and port utilizationDesigning and implementing & supporting Layer 3 wireless networks for WAN and data center connectivity including access points| controllers|Configuring and troubleshooting routing protocols in multi-vendor environments
Managing Internet edge routing and peering with ISPsImplementing route filtering and prefix listsDiagnosing routing loops| black holes| and asymmetric routing issuesMonitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues across wired and wireless environmentsCollaborate with security teams to ensure network compliance and implement firewall policiesPerform network upgrades| patching| and lifecycle management of hardware and softwareMaintain detailed documentation of network configurations| diagrams| and operational procedures
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network incidents and outagesWork with vendors and service providers to resolve issues and optimize performance
Essential Skills: Strong experience with Cisco IOS/XE| Arista EOS| and network automation tools
